First response from Soma!

Yesterday, we sent Soma a preview edit of the music video we've been working on for them. Today, they sent their first response. The label like it! Goody. Now the artist will watch it and let us know what he thinks of it... fingers crossed.

Crack Village photos

crack village Last night, I went to Crack Village's album launch party. Who are Crack Village? Well, they are two things. Firstly, they're an excellent electro-rap-funk bank. Secondly, two of my best friends from school (DCPS) are in the band (Pete and Druze). I took some photos last night; these photos are now online.

Alex Smoke "Ja Future" video nearing completion

Hurray! We've finally sent off the "preview edit" of the Alex Smoke "Ja Future" video. I hope they like it!

Adding categories to the Movie Making Manual

MMM.gif Goody... I've just managed to waste away an entire morning by adding categories to the Movie Making Manual wikibook. But now, hopefully, it'll be easier to navigate... we're slowly getting to the position where the MMM will be good enough to start to shout about it.

Free/busy schedule online

I've put my free/busy schedule online. It's updated automatically from my Sunbird calendar.

Added photos

I kicked off my filmmaking photo gallery last night. I've copied all my filmmaking photos from my personal photo gallery and added photos for the China Men promo and taken the photos off the DVD for A Trivial Pursuit (Director Mark scanned these photos and put them onto the DVD). I still have some more things to do to my filmmaking photo gallery, including:
  • Go back to the original TIFFs and do some curves tweaking
  • Add photos for the Teenage Girls Facecream promo
  • Add photos from the Property Apolocalyse Now
  • Scan some more of my Trivial Pursuit photos

New blog for filmmaking

Hi, This is my new blog all about filmmaking. This will run side-by-side with my personal blog. I'm separating the two so, with any luck, I can give my filmmaking blogging a more "pro" feel. Not that it'll work, of course! Jack.
